May the 4th be with you – featured artist Mr Skillmatik

Mr Skillmatik is a Freelance designer and illustrator who works largely in the fashion and music industries. Creating logos, brand identities, album covers and one off piece of art. Using a mixed skill range to take on commissions for both corporate and alternative businesses types.

Of his start in art he said ‘I was largely self taught and have been drawing since I was a toddler.  In 2011 I graduated with a graphic design degree to help me learn the more technical side of things and since 2013 I’ve been running my own studio.’

He says his work ‘is largely influenced by street art and street culture and you can see this throughout my work combining hand drawn abilities with graphic design and digital art knowledge to create a wide range of styles.’
